Paper 29 Overview: The Universe Power Directors

The Universe Power Directors represent a specialized group of beings responsible for regulating the physical energies that flow throughout creation. These little-understood entities function as the cosmic engineers who maintain the physical operations of the grand universe, ensuring the proper distribution and balance of energy across all realms. The paper describes three primary categories of beings involved in force control and energy regulation: the Master Force Organizers who work primarily in outer space, and the Universe Power Directors who function within the organized universes.

The paper outlines in detail the hierarchical structure of these power entities, beginning with the Seven Supreme Power Directors at the top, extending to the Supreme Power Centers who oversee specific regions, and then to the Master Physical Controllers who perform the actual work of manipulating energy. Though largely unknown to the mortals of Urantia, these beings perform essential cosmic functions that make life and universal operations possible, ensuring that the physical aspects of creation remain in perfect harmony with the spiritual design established by the Paradise Deities.

Of all the universe personalities who regulate interplanetary and interuniverse affairs, the power directors and their associates have been the least understood on Urantia. While humans have long known about angels and similar celestial beings, little information about the controllers and regulators of the physical domain has been shared. The author is permitted to fully disclose only the last of three groups of living beings concerned with force control and energy regulation: the Primary Eventuated Master Force Organizers, the Associate Transcendental Master Force Organizers, and the Universe Power Directors.

These unique living beings handle the intelligent regulation of energy throughout the grand universe and are organized into four major divisions: the Seven Supreme Power Directors, the Supreme Power Centers, the Master Physical Controllers, and the Morontia Power Supervisors. The Seven Supreme Power Directors and the Supreme Power Centers have existed since near eternity, with the former personalized by the Seven Master Spirits. Mortals have no direct dealings with the Supreme Directors or power centers during their ascension, though they will work with the physical controllers and morontia power supervisors once they reach the mansion worlds.

The Seven Supreme Power Directors function as the physical-energy regulators of the grand universe and represent the first recorded instance of semimaterial progeny derived from true spirit ancestry. When the Seven Master Spirits create individually, they produce highly spiritual angelic personalities, but when they create collectively, they sometimes produce these high types of semimaterial beings who would be invisible to human sight. There are exactly seven Supreme Power Directors, identical in appearance and function.

Each Supreme Power Director is associated with one Master Spirit and cannot be distinguished from another except by the Master Spirit with whom they are connected. These directors are stationed on peripheral Paradise, where their slowly circulating presence indicates the locations of the force-focal headquarters of the Master Spirits. They function both individually in the superuniverses and collectively in the central creation, serving as the physical ancestors of the vast host of power centers and, through them, the physical controllers scattered throughout the seven superuniverses.

The Seven Supreme Power Directors cannot individually reproduce themselves, but collectively and in association with the Seven Master Spirits, they can create other beings like themselves. This is how the Supreme Power Centers of the grand universe originated, functioning in seven groups: Supreme Center Supervisors, Havona Centers, Superuniverse Centers, Local Universe Centers, Constellation Centers, System Centers, and Unclassified Centers. These power centers possess high will freedom and display Third-Source personality, exhibiting exquisite intelligence.

The Supreme Center Supervisors coordinate with the Seven Supreme Executives on special worlds, while the Havona Centers maintain perfect energy control in the central creation. Superuniverse Centers occupy enormous areas on the capital spheres, managing the threefold energy currents with ten segregations each. Local Universe Centers downstep and modify the seven power circuits from the superuniverse to make them applicable to constellations and systems. Constellation Centers project energy to the tributary local systems, while System Centers dispatch power circuits to inhabited worlds of time and space. Unclassified Centers serve in special local situations but not on inhabited planets.

The Supreme Power Centers distributed throughout the superuniverses number, with their associates and subordinates, upward of ten billion. They maintain perfect synchronization and complete liaison with their Paradise progenitors, the Seven Supreme Power Directors. The power control of the grand universe is entrusted to the Seven Master Spirits, the creators of the Seven Supreme Power Directors, while the power centers and directors are forever exempt from interference by any tribunals of space.

These power centers and physical controllers undergo no training, being created in perfection, and always serve in their originally assigned roles without evolution in their ranks. Having no ascendant past to revert to, they never play but remain thoroughly businesslike in all their actions. They are always on duty, as there is no provision for interruption of the physical lines of energy. Their relation to gravity is wholly negative, as they resist its drawing power without originating it, and they function on specially constructed architectural spheres rather than on ordinary evolutionary planets.

The Master Physical Controllers serve as the mobile subordinates of the Supreme Power Centers, endowed with remarkable capabilities for individual transformation. They can move through space at velocities approaching those of Solitary Messengers but require assistance to overcome gravity when departing from material spheres. These controllers serve throughout the grand universe under the governance of the Seven Supreme Power Directors through the Council of Equilibrium, which interprets readings from the master frandalanks that indicate power pressure and energy charge.

There are seven types of Master Physical Controllers: Associate Power Directors, Mechanical Controllers, Energy Transformers, Energy Transmitters, Primary Associators, Secondary Dissociators, and the Frandalanks and Chronoldeks. Not all of these orders possess the ability to make individual choices, with the last four seeming almost automatic in their responses. However, they all demonstrate intelligent function, even if some appear mechanistic. The controllers are occupied with adjusting basic energies undiscovered on Urantia, which are essential for interplanetary transport and certain communication techniques.

The force organizers reside on Paradise but function throughout the master universe, particularly in the domains of unorganized space. These extraordinary beings are neither creators nor creatures and comprise two grand divisions of service: Primary Eventuated Master Force Organizers and Associate Transcendental Master Force Organizers. They work exclusively under the supervision of the Architects of the Master Universe and do not currently function extensively within the boundaries of the grand universe.

Primary Master Force Organizers manipulate the primordial or basic space-forces of the Unqualified Absolute, acting as nebulae creators and instigators of energy cyclones in space. They transmute primordial force into primary energy, which can then respond to Paradise gravity. The Associate Force Organizers continue this process, converting primary energy to secondary or gravity-energy. When a Creator Son arrives to begin forming a local universe, the Associate Force Organizers yield to the superuniverse power directors, but in the absence of such plans, they continue overseeing these material creations indefinitely, such as in outer space.
