The Central and Divine Universe
  • Summary

The central universe, called Havona, sits at the heart of all creation. It consists of one billion perfect worlds that circle around Paradise, the home of God. These worlds were not created over time like our universe but have always existed in complete perfection.

The Havona universe is organized into seven circular pathways, each containing millions of perfect worlds. These worlds serve as training centers for all beings on their journey to Paradise. Havona is also home to many different kinds of beings who live in perfect harmony.

  • Introduction

The perfect divine universe is at the center of all creation and serves as the eternal core around which everything else revolves. Paradise is at the center, surrounded by one billion beautiful spheres called Havona. This central universe is far from our local universe of Nebadon and was not developed over time but was created in perfect form.

This perfect creation is different from all other universes because it was not developed through evolution. Havona serves as the pattern of perfection that the Creator Sons try to duplicate in the outer universes. It is the eternal center around which all the evolving universes move.

  • 1. The Paradise-Havona System

The area from Paradise to the inner borders of the seven superuniverses has seven different space conditions. These include quiet zones near Paradise, circular pathways for the Havona worlds, and special zones where dark gravity bodies revolve around Paradise.

The billion worlds of Havona are arranged in seven circles around Paradise. The innermost circle has about 35 million worlds, while the outermost has more than 245 million. Time is different in Havona - a Paradise-Havona day equals almost 1,000 Urantia years.

  • 2. Constitution of Havona

The Havona worlds are real physical places where spirit beings live. They are not made of cloudy or see-through material but are solid worlds that are actually more real than the planets in our universe.

The physical makeup of Havona is very different from our universe. Havona energy has three parts, while our universe energy has two parts. Havona materials have 1,000 basic elements. If a person from Urantia could visit Havona, they would not be able to see or hear anything because their senses would not work there.

  • 3. The Havona Worlds

The central universe does not need government like our worlds do. The beings there are so perfect and good that they don't need laws or courts to keep order. There are no politics or lawmaking groups there.

The Havona worlds are run by special beings called Eternals of Days. Each world has one of these perfect leaders. The billion worlds serve as training places for beings from Paradise and also as testing grounds for beings coming from the evolutionary worlds. Only about one percent of these huge worlds is used for the Father's plan of helping mortals grow.

  • 4. Creatures of the Central Universe

There are seven basic types of living beings in Havona. Each type has three phases, and each phase has seventy divisions. The beings in Havona don't die like we do. They change form but don't experience decay or death.

The native beings of Havona were created by the Paradise Trinity. They have no parents and do not have children. They live on the billion worlds just as other permanent citizens live on their home worlds. They have their own unique lives that have meaning apart from helping visitors from Paradise or the superuniverses.

  • 5. Life in Havona

On Urantia, people go through a short test during their material life. Then they progress through many stages on different worlds until they reach Havona. In Havona, they must complete tasks on each of the worlds in each of the seven circuits.

Life on these divine worlds is so rich and full that humans cannot even imagine it. The activities there are nothing like our jobs and social lives on earth. The rules in Havona are not made up - they naturally make sense. People who reach Havona start on the outermost circle and work their way inward, learning and growing spiritually at each step.

  • 6. The Purpose of the Central Universe

The activities of Havona can be described as serving Havona itself, serving Paradise, and helping finite beings evolve toward the Supreme and Ultimate. The central universe serves many purposes that we cannot understand. It helps seven different groups of beings in the universe.

Havona helps the Universal Father feel the joy of perfect parental love. It helps the Eternal Son show spirit power. It gives the Infinite Spirit a place to show mercy and help others. It helps the Supreme Being unite power with spirit. It trains Creator Sons to make universes. It prepares Mother Spirits to work with Creator Sons. And finally, it provides a pattern and goal for all evolving mortals.
