Paper 107 Overview: Origin and Nature of Thought Adjusters

Thought Adjusters are fragments of God that live in the minds of humans. They are the Universal Father's special way of being close to us and helping us grow spiritually. These divine gifts show God's love and offer us an eternal future.

The Adjusters are pure divinity and work to guide humans toward God. They create in us a longing to be like God and to reach Paradise. Their ultimate goal is to unite with us forever, making a new being that combines human experience with divine nature.

The Universal Father lives on Paradise but is also present in the minds of his mortal children through the Mystery Monitors. The Adjusters are God's love made real in human souls. They are the promise of our eternal future contained within our minds.

God commands us to be perfect and sends part of himself as the Adjuster to help us achieve this goal. The Adjuster is our guide to finding God. When we follow our Adjuster, we are living according to God's will. The Adjuster creates in us a yearning for God and helps us move closer to him.

Since Thought Adjusters are part of original Deity, no one can speak with complete authority about their nature and origin. All we know comes from the traditions of Salvington and the beliefs of Uversa. All agree that Adjusters come directly from the Universal Father.

Adjusters are not created beings but are actual fragments of God. We don't know when they began to exist apart from God. We know little about them until they arrive to live in human minds. We believe that new Adjusters are being made as the universe grows, but this is just our guess.

Adjusters are unique individuals who will become either liberated, fused, or Personalized. There are seven orders of Thought Adjusters, but we don't fully understand all these divisions. They include Virgin Adjusters, Advanced Adjusters, and Supreme Adjusters.

Other types include Vanished Adjusters, Liberated Adjusters, Fused Adjusters, and Personalized Adjusters. Personalized Adjusters are those who served with incarnated Paradise Sons or achieved special distinction during their mortal indwelling. Adjusters can be classified in many ways, including by their experience level.

All activities related to sending, managing, and returning Adjusters seem to be centered on the sacred sphere of Divinington. As far as we know, only Adjusters and other entities of the Father have been on this sphere. We think other unrevealed beings may share Divinington with the Adjusters.

Spiritual beings receive three divine commands, and one is to never attempt to land on Divinington. We learn about Adjusters from many different sources since we cannot visit their home sphere. Personalized Adjusters make up the staff of the Adjuster training schools on Divinington and are always known by name, not numbers.

To say an Adjuster is divine recognizes their origin from God. They likely contain the essence of all God's attributes. Their source must be infinite, and their reality nearly absolute. They are limited in how far they extend but unlimited in meaning and value.

No Adjuster has ever been disloyal to God. Most beings cannot see unpersonalized Adjusters. There is a special light that comes with the divine presence of Adjusters. Those who have reached the Universal Father can see Personalized Adjusters. Humans often fail to realize the amazing significance of having a piece of God living within them.

Mortals often see mind as something between spirit and matter. But Adjusters exist on a level before spirit and energy separated, so they don't need a mediating mind. Yet Adjusters can plan, work, and love, so they must have powers of selfhood like mind.

Adjusters can communicate with each other, except for the virgin groups. The type of mind an Adjuster has is like the mind of the Universal Father and Eternal Son. After fusion, the Adjuster's mind only remains identifiable as distinct from the mortal’s mind until reacing spirit levels of universe progression.

When we encounter Adjusters, they reveal themselves as spiritual influences. They are pure spirit, but also something more. The Adjuster is your eternal possibility, and you are the Adjuster's personality possibility. They truly love you and hope to unite with you.

Adjusters are spirits, but they must also be something beyond just spirit. They have energy factors as well as spirit reality. They can travel through space using the gravity circuits of Paradise. They never rest from the time they are assigned until their subject dies. They are energy of the highest order.

Thought Adjusters are not personalities, but they are real entities. They are perfectly individualized and are true realities of the purest order known in the universe. Though not personal, these marvelous fragments of God are often called beings or spirit entities.

Even though Adjusters aren't personalities with choice, they somehow select subjects and volunteer to indwell them. They show decision-making abilities and affection for mortals. This special connection shows how closely God works with each person and points to the amazing future of growing closer to him forever.
