The Almighty Supreme is a living and evolving Deity of power and personality who represents the maximum revelation of Deity to the seven superuniverses during the present universe age. The Supreme Being functions primarily as a spirit personality in the central universe, secondarily as God the Almighty in the grand universe, and holds a third latent potential for future development in the master universe. This evolutionary Deity bridges the gap between the absolute perfection of Havona and the growing imperfection of the time-space creations.

The grand universe is portrayed as a living organism with the Supreme Being as its evolving soul and mind. The Supreme Being grows through the experiences of all creatures and creators, gradually synthesizing power and personality into a unified Deity expression. This understanding helps explain the inconsistencies and inequalities in the evolutionary worlds, as these imperfections serve as opportunities for growth and development for both creatures and their finite Creators, who themselves are evolving toward greater divine expression.

If humans recognized that their immediate supervisors—while divine—are also finite beings, and that the God of time and space is an evolving and non-absolute Deity, then the inconsistencies and temporal inequalities would cease to be profound religious paradoxes. This recognition would prevent religious faith from being used to promote social complacency among the fortunate while only encouraging stoic resignation among those experiencing social deprivation. When viewing the perfect spheres of Havona, it's reasonable to believe they were created by a perfect, infinite Creator, but the turmoil and imperfections of Urantia (earth) logically suggest creation and management by sub-absolute, pre-infinite, and less-than-perfect Creators.

Experiential growth requires a partnership between creatures and Creators—God and humans working together in association. Growth is the hallmark of experiential Deity, while Havona did not grow but has always existed like the everlasting Gods who are its source. The Almighty Supreme is a living and evolving Deity of power and personality whose current domain, the grand universe, is also a growing realm. The Supreme Being's destiny is perfection, but his present experience includes elements of growth and incomplete status. He functions primarily as a spirit personality in the central universe, secondarily as God the Almighty in the grand universe, and his tertiary function in the master universe currently exists only as an unknown mind potential.

The experience of every evolving creature personality represents a phase of the experience of the Almighty Supreme. When intelligent beings subjugate physical segments of the superuniverses, this contributes to the Almighty Supreme's growing control. The creative synthesis of power and personality reflects the creative urge of the Supreme Mind and constitutes the essence of the evolutionary growth of unity in the Supreme Being. The union of power and personality attributes in Supremacy occurs through Supreme Mind, and the completed evolution of the Almighty Supreme will result in one unified and personal Deity.

During the evolutionary ages, the physical power potential of the Supreme resides in the Seven Supreme Power Directors, while the mind potential exists in the Seven Master Spirits. The Infinite Mind functions through the Infinite Spirit, the cosmic mind operates through the Seven Master Spirits, and the Supreme Mind is actualizing through the coordination of the grand universe and through functional association with God the Sevenfold. The cosmic mind functions differently in the seven superuniverses but is coordinated in the Supreme Being through an unknown associative technique. We know less about the mind of Supremacy than other aspects of this evolving Deity, but we do know that while physical growth can reach completion and spirit can achieve perfection, mind never ceases to progress—it is the method of endless advancement.

The appearance of the Almighty's universe power presence coincides with the emergence of the high creators and controllers of the evolutionary superuniverses. God the Supreme derives his spirit and personality attributes from the Paradise Trinity, but his power as almighty sovereign comes from the actions of the Creator Sons, Ancients of Days, and Master Spirits. Their collective acts constitute the source of his growing power in the seven superuniverses, allowing him to function as a bridge between Paradise and the evolutionary realms.

Unqualified Paradise Deity remains beyond the comprehension of evolving creatures of time and space, who need origins, relativities, and destinies to understand universe relationships and divinity values. To make itself approachable, Paradise Deity has manifested itself through various levels known as God the Sevenfold, which mortals encounter in ascending order: Creator Sons, Ancients of Days, Seven Master Spirits, Supreme Being, Conjoint Actor, Eternal Son, and Universal Father. The first three levels constitute the Supreme Creators, while the last three are the Paradise Deities. The Supreme Being intervenes as the experiential spirit personalization of the Paradise Trinity and as the experiential focus of the evolutionary almighty power of the creator children of the Paradise Deities, providing maximum revelation of Deity to the seven superuniverses in the present universe age.

In these local universes, even the Creators themselves evolve: the Creative Spirit develops from a living power focus to a divine personality, while the Creator Son evolves from Paradise divinity to experiential sovereignty. The Magisterial Sons, through their bestowals on evolutionary worlds, acquire natures that express Paradise divinity unified with the highest spiritual values of human nature. Mortal humans appear necessary for the full functioning of God the Sevenfold as it culminates in the actualizing Supreme.

God the Sevenfold encompasses both the creators and the controllers of the grand universe. These sevenfold controllers include: the Master Physical Controllers, the Supreme Power Centers, the Supreme Power Directors, the Almighty Supreme, the God of Action (Infinite Spirit), the Isle of Paradise, and the Source of Paradise (Universal Father). These seven groups function inseparably from God the Sevenfold and constitute the physical-control level of this Deity association, managing the physical aspects of creation while the creative forces address spiritual development.

The Almighty Supreme evolves as the overcontroller of the physical power of the grand universe. In the present universe age, this physical power potential appears centered in the Seven Supreme Power Directors, who operate through power centers and physical controllers. The time universes are not perfect, as their destiny involves struggle for perfection on intellectual, spiritual, and physical levels. The settlement of the seven superuniverses in light and life presupposes physical stability, and the final attainment of material equilibrium will signal the completed evolution of the Almighty's physical control. Energy can be directed by controller personalities, showing its responsiveness to mind action. Mass can be stabilized through these same controlling entities, demonstrating the responsiveness of mass to mind's ordering presence. Spirit in volitional personality can strive through mind for mastery over energy-matter, revealing the potential unity of all finite creation. In Paradise and Havona, matter and spirit naturally harmonize, but in the seven superuniverses, the wide gulf between energy and spirit creates greater opportunity for mind action to harmonize and unify physical patterns with spiritual purposes.

The grand universe functions as a magnificent and responsive living organism, not merely a material creation of physical grandeur, spiritual sublimity, and intellectual magnitude. Actual life pulsates throughout the mechanism of the vast creation, with the physical reality symbolizing the perceivable reality of the Almighty Supreme. The material universe is permeated by intelligence circuits similar to the neural sensation pathways of the human body, and by energy lanes that activate material creation like the circulatory system energizes the human body. The universe has coordinating centers of magnificent overcontrol comparable to the chemical-control system of human physiology.

Just as mortals look to solar energy for life maintenance, the grand universe depends on the unfailing energies from Paradise to sustain cosmic activities. Mind has been given to mortals for self-awareness of identity and personality, while Supreme Mind has been bestowed upon the totality of the finite cosmos. Humans are responsive to spirit guidance, as the grand universe responds to the spirit-gravity of the Eternal Son. Human beings can make an everlasting self-identification with total universe reality by fusing with their indwelling Thought Adjusters, while the Supreme depends on the absolute stability of the Paradise Trinity. Humans' urge for Paradise perfection creates a genuine divinity tension in the living cosmos, resolved through the evolution of an immortal soul, while the collective universe striving builds a cosmic tension resolved through the synthesis of almighty power with the spirit person of the evolving Supreme Being.
