The Supreme Being embodies the evolving, experiential unification of finite reality. Through personal growth, cosmic struggle, and universal coordination, all finite creation contributes to the emergence of this evolving deity.
Reading Level:
The Supreme Being represents a unique aspect of Deity that bridges the gap between the absolute perfection of Paradise and the evolving, experiential nature of the finite universes. Unlike God the Father, whose relationship with creatures is primarily through sonship, the Supreme requires action and achievement from his creatures, as he himself grows through the collective experiences of all finite beings. This relationship creates a two-way dynamic where finite creatures contribute to Supreme growth while the Supreme provides a comprehensible pathway for creatures to understand and approach Deity.
The Supreme Being functions as the personification of the finite shadow cast by the infinite unity of the Universal Father across the grand universe. He draws from both the Paradise Trinity for his spirit nature and the triodities (cosmic groupings of three) for his evolutionary growth. The Supreme connects the material, mindal, and spiritual realities of existence, unifying them in a coherent whole that continues to expand and develop throughout the present universe age.
With God the Father, the most significant relationship is that of sonship—being his child. With God the Supreme, however, a different dynamic exists, as achievement becomes the prerequisite for status. The relationship with the Supreme requires not only being something but also doing something.
Partial and evolving minds require conceptual frameworks to function in the universe, as without these frames, beings would be unable to form rational thought patterns. These conceptual frames are indispensable scaffolding that allow for intellectual operations, though they are always incomplete and relatively true rather than absolutely accurate. As cosmic comprehension expands, these frameworks must evolve to accommodate new understandings and insights.
The universe is organized into different levels of cosmic reality, designated as finite, absonite, and absolute. Only the absolute level is truly eternal and existential, while the finite and absonite levels represent derivations and modifications of the original absolute reality. Though finite creatures may theorize about the necessity of finite existence in the cosmic economy, ultimately the finite exists because God willed it into being, making human existence part of the divine purpose rather than a cosmic accident.
From the existential perspective of infinity, nothing truly new can happen in the galaxies because all possibilities are inherently present in the I AM and the seven Absolutes. However, from the finite creature's viewpoint, infinity contains much that is potential—future possibilities rather than present actualities. This distinction creates the opportunity for evolutionary experience.
Values in the universe can be modified through enlarged comprehension of reality meanings, even in relations involving infinite Deity. The entire scheme of universal creation involves converting potentialities into actualities through experiential evolution in the finite realms and experiential eventuation in the absonite realms. This process of actualization relates directly to the Supreme Being, who functions through the complex relationships between the triodities and their impact on the evolving universes.
The absolute cosmos is conceptually without limit, making it impossible for finite language to adequately express the reality of infinity. The human mind can only approach understanding the Absolute by breaking its unity into comprehensible segments, which creates the paradox that infinity simultaneously represents unity and endless diversity. As creatures move farther from infinity in their comprehension, concepts become less true designations of reality and more projections of finite understanding.
The absolute level involves three phases: the Original (the unqualified First Source and Center), the Actual (the union of the Son, Spirit, and Paradise), and the Potential (the union of the Deity, Unqualified, and Universal Absolutes). The interrelationship of these three phases creates tensions within infinity that make universe growth possible. From a creature's viewpoint, actuality represents substance while potentiality represents capacity, with originality balancing the dual motions of actualizing potentials and potentializing actuals in the ongoing cycle of reality metamorphosis.
Any consideration of the origins of God the Supreme must begin with the Paradise Trinity, as the Trinity represents original Deity while the Supreme is derived Deity. The Supreme Being is first a spirit person stemming from the Trinity, and second a Deity of evolutionary growth deriving from the two triodities of actuality and potentiality. These triodities encompass all absolute actuality and infinite potentiality in conjunction with the First Source and Center.
Supreme reality develops through the cooperation of the absonite agencies of Paradise and the Supreme Creator Personalities of time. The qualified possibilities of the three potential Absolutes are matured through the Architects of the Master Universe, while the Supreme Creator Personalities bring evolving universes into factual being. The spirit person of the Supreme comes from the Trinity, while the power prerogatives of the Almighty derive from the successes of God the Sevenfold, with the Conjoint Actor bestowing the mind of the Supreme to unite these aspects.
The Supreme Being depends absolutely on the existence and action of the Paradise Trinity for the reality of his personal and spirit nature. While the growth of the Supreme involves relationships with the triodities, his spirit personality specifically derives from the Paradise Trinity. The Trinity remains the absolute center-source of perfect stability around which the evolutionary growth of the Supreme progressively unfolds.
The functional relationship between the Trinity and the Supreme is significant because the Trinity operates on all levels, including the level of Supremacy. However, as the age of Havona transitions to the age of the superuniverses, the direct creative action of the Trinity increasingly gives way to the creative acts of the Paradise Deities' children, demonstrating an evolution in how divine creativity expresses itself throughout the universe epochs.
The triodity of actuality (Paradise, Eternal Son, and Infinite Spirit) continues to function directly in the post-Havona eras through fundamental operations: Paradise gravity grasps the basic units of material existence, the Son's spirit gravity operates on spirit values, and the Conjoint Actor's mind gravity clutches vital intellectual meanings. These fundamental forces maintain the basic coherence of the cosmos.
As creation extends outward through space, it functions increasingly distant from direct action by the central Paradise forces and personalities. These successive levels of cosmic existence become more dependent on developments within the three Absolute potentialities. The Supreme Being embraces possibilities for cosmic ministry not apparent in the Eternal Son, Infinite Spirit, or Paradise realities. The Supreme's growth involves a dual motion—intensively toward Paradise and Deity and extensively toward the limitlessness of the Absolutes of potential—creating a dynamic tension that drives cosmic evolution.
In the Supreme Being, the Father-I AM has achieved relative liberation from the limitations inherent in infinity of status, eternity of being, and absoluteness of nature. However, this liberation comes with new limitations, as the Supreme becomes subject to experiential qualifications, time constraints, and the necessity of development through incompleteness. The Supreme represents a paradoxical blend of liberation and limitation that characterizes finite existence.
This arrangement aligns with the Father's plan, which predicates finite progress upon effort, creature achievement upon perseverance, and personality development upon faith. By establishing the experience-evolution of the Supreme, the Father enables finite creatures to exist in the universes and potentially attain the divinity of Supremacy through experiential progression. The Supreme functions as a synthesizing and unifying Deity—the personification of the finite shadow cast by the infinite unity of the Universal Father across the grand universe—connecting levels of reality that would otherwise remain separate.
