Paper 7 Overview: Relation of the Eternal Son to the Universe

The Eternal Son helps carry out the Father's eternal plans for the universe. He shares the Father's nature by giving himself to others, just as the Father does. The Eternal Son controls all spiritual things and beings, pulling them toward himself through spiritual gravity.

The Eternal Son reveals the Universal Father to all creation through his Paradise Sons. It is easier for humans and angels to approach the Eternal Son than the Universal Father. As you grow spiritually, you will understand the Eternal Son better.

The Original Son is concerned with carrying out the spiritual parts of the Father's eternal plan. The Son is like the Father in that he gives everything possible to his Sons. The Son upholds all spiritual realities, while Paradise upholds all material things.

The Eternal Son holds up the world of spirit beings and spiritual realities. The Son is not responsible for what free-will spirit beings do. No matter what choices people or angels make, the Son maintains absolute control of spiritual gravity.

Everything taught about God being everywhere, all-powerful, and all-knowing is equally true about the Eternal Son in spiritual areas. The pure spiritual gravity of all creation leads back to the Second Source and Center on Paradise. The Son controls all spirit realities and values in the universe.

This spiritual gravity works without being affected by time or space. Spirit gravity doesn't decrease with distance like physical gravity does. Spirit realities respond to the center of spiritual gravity based on their spiritual quality. The spirit gravity of the Eternal Son is absolute and can't be interrupted by sin or rebellion.

On Paradise, the presence of the Original Son is absolute in a spiritual sense. As we move outward from Paradise through the central universe and into the seven superuniverses, we see less of the Eternal Son's personal activity. The Eternal Son works through the Paradise Sons in the local universes.

In the central universe, the Original Son's activity can be seen in the perfect harmony of creation. The Son is not personally present in the superuniverses but maintains a representation there. In the local universes, we see the Eternal Son personally present in the Paradise Sons.

In the local universe, humans look to the Creator Son as representing the Eternal Son. As they start training in the superuniverse, they begin to sense the inspiring spirit of the Eternal Son. The spirit of the Eternal Son never lives within a human's mind or soul, but his influence is always near.

The spiritual gravity pull of the Eternal Son is the secret behind human souls rising to Paradise. All true spiritual values are held by the Son's spiritual gravity. The spirit-gravity circuit carries genuine prayers directly to the consciousness of Deity. When we pray, it doesn't matter if we picture the Creator Son or the Eternal Son.

The Eternal Son works with the Father to successfully carry out the divine plan of progress. This plan includes creating, evolving, and perfecting beings with free will. The Father and Son are equal partners in planning how to help material beings of time reach the perfection of eternity.

The divine perfection plan includes three connected adventures: The Plan of Progressive Attainment (the Father's plan for creatures to evolve), the Bestowal Plan (the Son's plan to reveal the Father through the Sons of God), and the Plan of Mercy Ministry (the Infinite Spirit's plan to help the other two plans work). The Eternal Son is the trustee of the Father's plan for creature advancement.

The Eternal Son joined with the Universal Father in telling all creation: "Be perfect, as your Father in Havona is perfect." This command has motivated all the bestowal plans of the Eternal Son and his Sons. The Sons of God become "the way, the truth, and the life" for all creatures.

The Eternal Son cannot directly contact humans like the Father does through Thought Adjusters. The Son's personal nature cannot be divided into fragments. Instead, the Son comes near to created beings through the Paradise Sons, who sometimes live as the creatures themselves, like when Michael of Nebadon lived on earth as Jesus.

Many do not know about the multiple Sons of God, which leads to confusion. The Eternal Son is the source of the mercy and service qualities shown by all the descending Sons of God. The Eternal Son passes on his divine nature to the Paradise Sons who reveal his character to the universes.

The Creator Sons go out from Paradise to organize the local universes. The Magisterial Sons earn the right to judge creature survival. The Father, Son, and Spirit also create the Trinity Teacher Sons who teach all types of beings. Between the Original Son and all Paradise Sons, there is a direct communication channel based on their spiritual relationship.

The Eternal Son completely reveals the spirit and personality of the Universal Father. All knowledge about the Father must come through the Eternal Son and his Paradise Sons. The Eternal Son shows what the Father is like in spirit and personality.

The Father comes to you as a personality only through the divine Sons of the Eternal Son. You reach the Father by following the guidance of these divine Sons. The Eternal Son is easier for humans to approach than the Universal Father. You can learn more about the Eternal Son by thinking about your own Creator Son who once lived on earth.
